What is the Purpose and Function of a Policy?
Policies govern how Agents operate.
- Agents are worker processes that scan and evaluate locations (entered by you) for sensitive data such as social security numbers, phone numbers, IMEI numbers, etc.
- By changing a policy, all Agents in your environment using that policy are impacted
- Policies enable you to control the behavior of multiple Agents operating across your environment

How to Manage a Policy
Policies can be created, viewed, edited, and deleted on the Policies page (Agents > Policies):
